For what it's worth...I think they have Mother's day and birthdays confused. This is how it should go...Mother's Day should be a day when we mothers, give our kids a present because they were instrumental in making us mothers. Then when it is the kid's birthdays, they should give the mother a present because we gave them birth and for the most part it kinda hurt. It would pretty much all work out the same wouldn't it? Just a thought.

Motherhood is the Best!
These children: Lindsay, Easton , Bailey Sue, Marin, Emily, Olivia, Briggs and Carter are the result of some GREAT mothers. Janeen, Andie, and Lindsay, I respect and admire the loving ways you are using to raise these super kids. These children are being raised in a very difficult world. With your help, support, encouragement, discipline, and solid values, they will be a positive addition to our troubled society. THANK YOU and I love you all for making me a grandma.

A few extra pictures of Easton's blessing day...not much text, the pictures speak for themselves.
Now that I look at the pictures, where in the heck was Morgan, Janeen, Briggs, Livvy, Grandma Betty, Me and Mickey? Oh, now I remember...Morgan was out washing the car, Janeen was probably cleaning up my mess in the kitchen, Livvy and Briggs were in the playroom, Mickey was caving and I was taking pictures. Grandma Betty was probably trying to stave off pneumonia. It didn't work!

I wanted to display more cute pictures from Baby Blessing Sunday
Yep, it's cute Mark with one of his best friends (the green apple), Lins with cutie pie Marin and Chad who is probably educating the group about some far reaching intellectual observation...dinner.

In honor of the MIck Man
Yep, the Mick Man has entered his 63rd year. These are his 62 year old legs. He has always told me that he has GREAT legs. I still laugh. This is the one thing that has not changed since he was 48 years old (that is when I met him and he told me that he has THESE great legs). Well, as I think about it I guess there are a few other things that have not changed as well...he still has a most beautiful singing voice, he is still a 'southern gentleman' in that he has yet to F--t (I really don't like that word) in front of me, he still remembers (and that is big at his age) all the things that I like, he still calls from the store to see if there is anything else that I need, he is still profoundly active in the church with a quiet, solid testimony, and he still has that wonderful laugh and smiling eyes.
Happy 62nd Birthday, Mickey! I pray for many more.

The First Little Angel to Participate in The Sleeping Sunday
The first to crash after a big Sunday morning was precious Easton Tyler. He participated in his first Priesthood ordinance when his Uncle Chad blessed him . Yes! Cause for celebration and a family gathering. Gather, celebrate (which really means to eat), then bring on the naps!

The Sleeping Sunday
Ahhh, yes, some were entertaining those trying to sleep, some were resting and some will want to throttle me for posting a picture. Hmmm, who will want to throttle the Mother?

A story about my mom
The other night mom was doing her crossword puzzles and I asked her how she got started doing them. Here's her story. She was working at a soda shop. As she walked to work each day she passed a book store with a window display showing the books available...of course. She noticed a crossword puzzle book and just kind of wondered about it for awhile. At one point the book was open for the public to see what was inside. She studied it and thought to herself..."That is something I could do..." It still took awhile, but eventually she actually went into the store and bought her first crossword puzzle book. She still enjoys working those crossword puzzles even though it takes great effort because it is hard for a lefty to write with the right hand.
